Jane Vance Copeland was a wonderful and beautiful lady who was so full of life and just positively impacted everyone she touched. She was stricken with cancer two years ago. She had a bone marrow transplant which worked wonders. She and Richard my first cousin, visied me June 2002 at ranch at Denton, Texas, and we had a wonderful visit, Jane looked so good and we talked a lot about all that she had been through. Shortly after her visit she was told the cancer had returned. She went into the hospital in Oklahoma City in June 2003 for another stem cell transplant from her brother. The transplant had a negative reaction this time. I spoke with her after her birthday in May 2002. She was still in the hospital and was so very weak. We talked a long time and she knew she was not going to make it then. I talked to Richard today Aug. 21, 2003 and he told me she passed away Jul. 7, 2003 . She was still in the hospital. She was always a breath of fresh air and she will be missed by many. I can still see that wonderful smile and I know she is smiling again forever. Goodbye my friend.Jesse Lawrence 8/21/2003
