Tressie Chronister, age 75, of Atkins, AR died Sunday, December 8, 2002 at her home. She was a homemaker and a member of the United Pentecostal Church. She was born August 26, 1927, in Lapanta, AR, and was the daughter of the late Kenyon and Rachael Scott Millard.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 35 years, Oscar Chronister and three sons, James Woody, William and Woody Dean.

Survivors include 3 sons and daughters-in-law, David and Linda Jones of Morrilton, Don Shirley Wilson of Springerville, AR, Bobby and Sharon Wilson of Atkins, AR; 4 daughters and sons-in-law, Peggy & Ronnie Farmer of Ozark, AR, Beulah & Ted Rustad of Atkins, AR, Lora and R. L. Schreckhise of Rogers, AR, Teresa Denese Timothy Mitchell of Gravelly, AR; 3 brothers, James Millard of Enid, OK, Roy & Loyd Millard of Pawhuska, OK; 1 sister, Anna Bee Masters of Oklahoma; 14 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be today, Wednesday, December 11, 2002 at 10:00 a. m. at Lemley Funeral Chapel, officiated by Rev. Wayne Long. Burial in Hunt Cemetery by Lemley Funeral Service. Pallbearers will be Michael Wilson, Kenneth Jones, Kevin Jones, Steven Schreckhise, James Alexander, Adam Mitchell.
