James S. Crothers , 58, of Quaker Lane, Warwick, an employee of the Leviton Manufacturing Co. for 36 years before retiring in 1987 as a foreman, died Sunday at home. He was the husband of Mary I. (Wheylan) Crothers .
Born in Webster, Mass., a son of Elsie L. (Olsen) Crothers , and the late James S. Crothers , he lived in Warwick most of life.
Mr. Crothers was an Army veteran of the Korean War.
Besides his wife and mother he leaves a son, James S. Crothers Jr. of Warwick; three daughters, Sherry E. Knight and Julie A. Rotondo, both of Coventry, and Wendy L. Senecal of Warwick; two brothers, Richard K. and Robert F. Crothers , both of Warwick, and four grandchildren.
His funeral was held Thursday at the Thomas & Walter Quinn Funeral Home, 2435 Warwick Ave., Warwick. . Burial with military honors was in the Rhode Island Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Exeter.
