Edman E. ROBBINS, 82, of 301 First St., Argos, died at 6:45 a.m. Sunday in Woodlawn Hospital, where he had been a patient for five days.
He was born to Henry and Ruby EATON ROBBINS in Argos, and was a lifetime resident of the community. On July 29, 1933 in Crown Point he married Eldora JAGGERS, who died Oct. 28, 1991. He was retired from the LaPaz Elevator. He was a member of the Argos United Methodist Church, the Argos Lions Club and the Plymouth Masonic Lodge.
Surviving are a daughter Susan Kay ROBBINS, Miami Beach,Fla.; a niece, Mrs. Larry (Kay) DAVIS, Culver, and a nephew, Kenn VanDerWEELE, Fort Wayne. Preceding in death was a sister, Mary Alice VanDerWEELE, in 1972.
Services will be at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday at Grossman Funeral Home, Argos, with Dr. Donald C. LACY and the Rev. Jack RHOADES Sr., officiating. Burial will be in the New Oak Hill Cemetery, Plymouth. Friends may call from 6-8 p.m. tonight and after 9 a.m. Tuesday. Memorials may be made to the Argos United Methodist Church or the Plymouth Masonic Lodge.
