Rachel was the daughter of James Lynn (1818-1906) & Amy Dean (1823-1893) of Appling County, Ga...
To them were 9 children:
(1) David William (1870- )married 7-31-1890 WC to Maggie Rebecca Rives (1873-1903); (2) Infant Son- no name ( B & D 1871);
(3) James Leonard (1872-1948) married 11-29-1899 WC to Mollie Hinson (1878-1960); (4) Amy Serena (1876-1881);
(5) Joseph H. (1878-1907) married 11-13-1900 WC to Francis Josephine 'Josie' Lee (1882-1959) she 2nd married William D. Lynn (1875-1963);
(6) Mary Elizabeth (1883-1972) 1st married ----- to William Jasper Griffin (--) and 2nd married --- J.R. Griffin (--);
(7) John D. (1885-1942) married ----- to Mamie Lee (1887-1968);
(8) Infant Son- no name ( B & D 1887);
(9) Charles Wesley (1893-1915)..

William's first home stead was on lot of land 321, in the 8th District of Ware County, and later on adjoining lot 278; living there until he passed away...
After he passed his wife and children continued to live there until 1925 when she went to live with her son James and his wife Mollie in Manor until she passed away..
The home place was taken over by a grandson William J. Inman...

William & Rachel were faithful members of the New Prospect Methodist Church in Manor, Ga., William was the Sunday School Superintendent a number of years in 1870's- 1880's and was also the Church Steward, while Rachel taught in the Sunday school until 1924... the whole family became known for their faithful and consistent Christian lives...

There is no Headstone for William but a small stone 2 spaces next to his father James (on left side)... his mother Cyrena is on the right side of James... IF YOU ARE FACING THEM...
