Mr. Abbott was active in politics. He was a member of the Michigan Democratic Committee, a Michigan delegate at the 1964 Democratic Convention in Atlantic City, and campaign manager for Zoltan Ferency who ran for Michigan governor. Memorial Service held April 1, 2006 St. James Episcopal Church, Albion. CREMAINS.
