Jasper Sherman Garrett 80, son of Oscar Sherman Garret and Lora(Barlow)Garrett,was born June,1902 near Ellis Prairie. He died November 6th at the home of his son Ralph Garrett,near Success Missouri.He was united in marriage to Clara Jordan October 9th 1925 and into this union 11 children were born.He was proceeded in death by his wife Clara,one son and two daughters. Mr Garrett spent his life in the Success and Ellis Prairie communities,where he and his wife reared their family.He was a farmer by trade.He also worked for Lynch and Upton Townships as an assessor for a number of years.Funeral services were held Tuesday,November 9th at the Evans Funeral Home Chapel. Burial was in the Emery Cemetery.
