Charles Joseph Abresch is the son of George Abresch and Anna Maria Duck. He married Mary, possibly in Eddy Co. ND, where they resided in 1940.

Anna Maria (Duck) Abresch died in Seattle in 1951. Found her burial place in Seattle, but unable to find burial place for husband George. He may have died in Eddy County, ND, or in 1927 in Minnesota. The George J. Abresch family resided in Eddy Co. where I believe Anna met George, and married there. George and Anna are in Eddy Co. for 1910 and 1920. Son Charles J. is in the State Reformatory in 1930, and back to Eddy Co. ND for 1940.

Anna Maria's parents were John Agar Duck and Sarah O'Neill who emigrated in 1869 from England, and resided in Illinois, before relocating to Eddy Co. ND. The Duck names has also been spelled Ducke. Anna's brother Daniel Richardson Ducke died in Seattle in 1931.
