ALBANY Randy Warren Russell Jr., departed his life suddenly on March 19, 2006. Randy was born on May 29, 1974 in Albany, N.Y. to Nancy Edwina Blunt and Randy W. Russell. Randy Redbone lived his life to the very fullest like no one else. Randy was employed by Albany Steel. His memories will be cherished by many, but most of all his children, Ch'naiya and Randy W. Russell III. Also his two sisters, Veranda Russell of Md., Lisah Russell of Ala.; and two brothers, George (Dugga) Blunt III of Albany and Diagnon Freeman of Atlanta. Besides the loving memories of his immediate family that will be cherished, Randy leaves behind one loving grandmother, Ellen Russell and loving companion, Michelle Williams. He was predeceased by his grandparents, Mary and Chester Perkins and Raymond R. Russell II. He also leaves a host of nieces, nephews, uncles, aunties, cousins, and friends. Randy will be greatly missed by all he had loved and who loved him. Friends may call from 10:00 to 12:00 p.m. on Friday morning and funeral services will be held Friday, March 24, 2006 at 12 noon at the Mt. Olive Missionary Baptist Church, 236 North Pearl St., in Albany, N.Y. Interment, Evergreen Memorial Garden in Colonie, N.Y.
