Ivan Wesley Eveland of Grand Terrace, a resident for 13 years, died March 2, 1988 at the age of 57. She was survived by his wife, Nellie Eveland, one son, three daughters, eight grandchildren who loved him very much, two brothers and four sisters. He was a Navy veteran of over 22 years, a retired correctional officer, and a member of the FLeet Reserve. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Loma Linda Heart Fund in the name of Ivan Eveland. Service will be at 1 p.m. at Montecito Chapel with the Rev. LeRoy Smith officiating. Interment will be at Montecito Cemetery with Montecito Memorial Chapel Loma Linda in charge.
