Mollie R. Fleck, age 92, of Wilmington, DE, formerly of New Castle, DE passed away on Wednesday, October 1, 2014.
Mollie was born on August 18, 1922 in Pitman, NJ. She adored her mother, Jennie Reeves, and loved the arts, graduating from the University of the Arts in Philadelphia, PA, Class of 1943. In that same year, she married her beloved husband, Robert D. Fleck, with whom she was happily married for over 66 wonderful years before he passed away on June 6, 2009. She would kiss his picture every night and looked forward to the day she would join him once again, this time in heaven.
She is survived by and was always proud of her 3 sons, Robert D. Fleck, Jr and his wife, Millie of New Castle, DE; Thomas Fleck and his wife, Sylvia of Landenberg, PA; Dave Fleck of Myrtle Beach, SC and his fiancé, Karen Fletcher of Nashville, TN; 10 grandchildren; and 6 great-grandchildren.
A Funeral Service will be held to honor her life on Friday, October 10, 2014, 11am at Gebhart Funeral Home, 531 Delaware Street, New Castle, DE 19720, where friends may visit with the family beginning at 10am. Burial will be held privately in Manahath Cemetery, Glassboro, NJ.
