Ben and Kristi Strack and three of their four children passed away on September 27th 2014, in Springville Utah. The family was inseparable in life and in death. Ben and Kristi were very loving and devoted parents, always putting the needs of their children above their own. They were especially focused on making sure their children ate healthy, nutritious meals and that they were getting a good education. They spent endless hours together playing, studying, sharing, working, camping and picnicking up the canyon. Some of their favorite times were spent enjoying the red rock country in southern Utah, Moab and Lake Powell. They taught their children all about love, including God's love for all of his children.

Benjamin John Strack, age 37, was a master brick mason for over 22 years. His genuine smile warmed the room and his humor would diffuse any discomfort in those around him. When he wasn't cuddling his children in his arms, he was regaling others with his guitar. Ben was a very funny and playful dad. His children, as well as his nieces and nephews, were constantly entertained by his playful antics. He had a gentle and compassionate heart, and all those who experienced his love felt blessed to know him.

Kristi Janae Strack, age 36, had an inspiring way of protecting her children. She encouraged them to work together and look out for one another. She had an infectious smile that would light up a room. She was loved by every child she came in contact with. Kristi was a very talented singer who loved cooking and working in the garden. She had a love for nature and animals. She often adopted and nurtured stray or abandoned animals.

Benson Grey Strack, age 14, was a very good and loving son. He loved to spend time with and help his mom and dad. He was very intrigued by the Japanese culture and was self-taught in the language. He was an amazing Anime artist and had an orange belt in Hapkido. He was very kind to and protective of his younger siblings. His compassionate, loyal qualities will endure most lastingly with his friends and family.

Emery Angela Strack, age 12, was a beautiful nurturing girl, halfway between the innocence of childhood and the wonder of young womanhood. She loved animals, dance, art and track and could run like the wind with her long legs. She was sweet and playful, and when she laughed it was contagious. She and Zion, the baby of the family, were inseparable. They studied, played, and explored together. She was his protector and confidant.

Zion Daniel Strack, age 11, lived in his own little world and was an innocent and gentle soul who spent his time cuddling and showing love. He excelled at mathematics and was a computer whiz, especially when it came to Super Mario Brothers. He loved his family, and brought happiness and joy to everyone he met.

All of the children adored their parents and it was evident that they were a very close knit family who enjoyed being together. It is tragic that the children will not be able to fulfill their destiny in this life, but they will soar in the next.

The family is survived by their son and brother, loving parents, many siblings, and extended family who love and will miss them.

Funeral services are being provided by Walker Mortuary in Spanish Fork, Utah. Donations and prayers are welcome to help the family recover from this tremendous loss:
