Stephen C. Brown

Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the First Methodist Church, Sidney, for Stephen C. Brown, 57, of 723 N. Main Ave., Sidney, principal of Sidney High School since 1953, who died at University Hospital in Columbus. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery, Sidney.

He went to Sidney from Washington C.H. where he had been high school principal. Mr. Brown also taught nine years in Hillsboro where he was mathematics teacher and principal.

Mr. Brown attended Adrian College in Michigan and got his BA degree in 1929. He also attended Wilminton College and Miami University and obtained a master's degree from Miami in 1941.

Survivors include his widow, Ruth; a daughter, Mrs. Carl Burchett of Dayton and a son, Stephen of Indianapolis. Friends may call from 2 to 5 adn 7 to 9 p.m. today at the Kerry Mortuary in Sidney. The body will be at the First Methodist Church for viewing after noon tomorrow.
