OBITUARY: Flick Mrs. Gertrude
A 44 year-old Sugarcreek Township mother of 10, stricken with a heart attack, died within a half hour yesterday afternoon before a physician could be summoned, Coroner A. W. DOSCH reported today.
She was Mrs. Gertrude Blanche Flick, wife of Flick, widely known farmer in that district. The woman was upstairs when stricken. A daughter heard her fall and summoned other members of the family, at work in fields nearby.
Surviving are the husband, six sons, Harry, Arthur, Floyd, Kenneth, Leroy, and Wesley; four daughters Lillie, Alice, Louise, and Vernie, all at home; her mother Mrs. Jane SNYDER, Red Bank; two brothers John SNYDER, Red Bank and Harvey, Sugarcreek township; three sisters, Mrs. James GUTHRIE, Trippletown; Mrs. Maggie HAUN, Callensburg and Mrs. Hugh GUTHERIE, Sugarcreek township.
Funeral services will be held from the home at 2 pm tomorrow but the place of burial has not been decided upon this morning.
