Mrs. Adams was born in Tennessee, but had resided in Texas for a number of years.
Surviving are her husband, Malakoff; four daughters, Mrs. Dora Cripps, Van Alstyne, Mrs. Otha Morgan, Malakoff, Mrs. Jessie Bennett, Corsicana, Mrs. J.E. Robinson, Malakoff; a son, John W. Adams, Winger, Ok.; a sister, Mrs. Della Speck, Gunter; two brothers, C.E. Phillips, Okmulgee, Ok., Elzie Phillips, Temple, Ok.; twelve grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren.
