Funeral Services Held Here Tuesday Morning For Mrs. Flossie Mae Ashby -- Funeral services for Mrs. Flossie Mae Ashby, 46, of the Old Boonshill Road, who died at her residence Sunday morning after a long illness, were conducted Tuesday morning at 11 o'clock in the chapel of the Gallant Funeral Home. I. C. Pullias officiated, and burial was in Riverview Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Ashby was a native of Cullman, Alabama, a daughter of Joe T. Jones and the late Mrs. Pearl Connell Jones. She was a member of the Church of Christ. In addition to her father, she is survived by one son, Bobby Ray Ashby of Lincoln County; on sister, Mrs. Paul Smith, of Lincoln County; three brothers, Owen Jones of Okeechobee, Florida, John and Orby Jones, both of Tampa, Florida; three half-sisters, Mrs. John Hunter of Memphis, Mrs. Harold Whitsett of Nashville, and Mrs. Minas Serris of Tampa; and one half-brother, Earl Jones of Nashville.
