57, of Cynthiana died Saturday, September 13, 2014 at St. Joseph Hospital in Lexington.
She was born August 6, 1957 in Harrison Co., KY a daughter of William Thomas "Bill" and Lillion Ashbrook Barnes.
Kathy Jo was a special needs bus monitor for the Harrison Co. School System and was a member of the Robinson Christian Church.
Survivors include her husband Melvin Ray Jones, one daughter Jessie Lou Ellen (Joe Shadd) Jones, one sister Sandy Barnes (Johnny Mac) Palmer, her granddaughter Jaylen Rae Shadd, nephew, Billy Ray (Audra) Palmer, and her niece Rebecca (George) Sisselberger.
Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Wednesday September 17, 2014 at the Drake-Whaley-McCarty Funeral Home officiated by Rev. Quentin McNabb and Rev. Stephen Staggs. Burial will follow the service in the Pythian Grove Cemetery.
Friends may call from 5-8 PM Tuesday at the funeral home.
