Friends were saddened Sunday to learn of the death of Mrs. Green Wall of Decatur, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Jimmy Ethridge, near Newton. She has many friends and relatives in this area who mourn her death.

Following a lengthy terminal illness, Mrs. Ella Walker Wall, widow of Green J. Wall, of Decatur, died Oct. 2, 1966, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Jimmy Ethridge, in the Bethel-Mt. Moriah Community, southwest of Newton.
Final rites were said Oct. 3 at 3 p.m. at Hutson Chapel in Newton, with Father Rembert as officiant. Participating ministers were the Rev. I.O. Alexander of Newton and the Rev. J.L. Neill of Decatur. Burial was in the family plot of the Poplar Springs Cemetery.
Mrs. Wall was born in Newton County Nov. 20, 1887, her parents being Emma H. Thompson and M.T. Walker. She was a catholic by faith.
Survivors are two sons, Kenneth W. Wall of Meridian and Col. Robert E. Wall of Laguna Beach , Calif.; six daughters, Mrs. Jimmy Ethridge and Mrs. John Weatherford of Newton, Mrs. Hansel Reeves, Mrs. Charles Brand and Mrs. C.C. Barnes of Decatur and Mrs. Ben Crawford of Tylertown; two step-daughters, Mrs. Mae Hootsel of Ferriday, La., and Mrs. Carrie Williams of Dallas, Tex.; 18 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
Billie Wayne Baucum, Jimmy Nance, Ray Gibson Jr., Tommy Brand, Charlie Brand, Benjy Crawford, Melvin Nicholson and D.L. Monroe served as active casket bearers.
