Durieux, Andre Rene -- Passed away quietly at the Guelph General Hospital, with his family by his side, on Thursday, September 11, 2014. Andre Rene Durieux age 85 years, was the beloved husband of Simonne (Steelandt) Durieux of Guelph. He was the loving father of Darlene Cober of Guelph, and Nancy Ham and her husband Alvin of New Caney, Texas. Andre was the proud grandfather of Sarah (Matt Sytsma), David Cober, Rachel Cober, Laura (Ryan Dickey) and Kevin Ham, and great-grandfather of Abigail Sytsma, and Jordan Sytsma. He was the dear brother of Astrid Ascone of Belgium, and the late Roger Durieux. Survived by two nieces, Rita and Els. Resting at the Gilbert MacIntyre & Son Funeral Home, Dublin Chapel, 252 Dublin St. N., Guelph, where friends will be received on Tuesday, September 16, 2014 from 10 - 11 A.m. A Funeral Service will follow in the chapel at 11 a.m. Interment Marymount Cemetery, Guelph.
