Dwight was retired from Central Ohio Coal Com. and was an Army veteran of W.W. II. He was also a member of the Grace United Methodist Church in McConnelsville and was active in the Buckeye Harmonica Club of Columbus.
He is survived by a daughter Sharon (John) Kerr of Columbus, a sister Lila Martin of McConnelsville and several neices and nephews.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Edith Hall Scott, a sister Nina Scott and 5 brothers Dana, Norman,Glen, Dale and Raymond Scott.
Friends and family may call Saturday September 13, 2014 from 1:00-4:00 p.m. at the Miller-Huck Funeral Home in McConnelsville where funeral services will be held at 4:00 p.m. with Pastor Lee Ann Dunlap officiating.
Dwight will be laid to rest beside his wife Edith in McConnelsville Cemetery. Military honors will be provived by the American Legion Post #24 Color Guard.
