A native of Wilson, OK, Charles (Chuck) Puckett was born March 29, 1928 to John A. and Jewell (Boyett) Puckett. He moved to Inverness, FL 22 years ago from St. Petersburg.

Mr. Puckett was a veteran of WWII, having served as a welder in the U.S. Army. He continued empolyment as a welder in a concrete block plant in Inverness.

He was a member of Stagecoach Junction Fellowship Church in Bushnell, where he was active in the praise and worship group playing guitar. He also performed at Cowboy Junction for a number of years.

His wife, Ethel (Young) Puckett, preceded him in death in 1997.
