Leonard (Lenny) Wilson was called home to rest by the Lord on Saturday February 25, 2006. He was 44 years old. Born June 30, 1962, he was called Lenny by his family and friends. His battle with diabetes and other minor illnesses prevented this college graduate from living a healthy and normal life, but he was determined to fight back and live life to its fullest. He decided to surrender his struggle and turn it over to his higher power. He will always be remembered as a courageous and fearless human being and always looked to help others. He will be missed. He leaves to mourn, his mother Ms. Dorothy Ardis of Harlem, N.Y.; three brothers, George Ardis of Albany, Gregory and Lenwood Ardis, both from Atlanta, Ga.; three sisters, Karen Wright of Albany, Sabrina Ardis of Atlanta, Ga. and Kim O'Sullivan of Virginia Beach, Va.; four nieces, one of which resides in Albany, Tanaisha Ardis; eight nephews, four of which reside in Albany, Keyshawn Wright Carter, Marquise, William and George Jr. Ardis; sister-in-law Mrs. Arlicia Ardis; and her three sisters; one brother-in-law from Albany; a mother-in-law from Harlem, N.Y.; two nephews-in-law, Andre Riddick and Perriel Rich of Albany; two step-children, Brittany and Justin, both of Conn.; two great-nephews and one great-niece and many more relatives of the Wilson family and a host of friends. Dear friend of Rev. Jonathan Gray who presided at Lenny's memorial service. We love you always, The family.
