In 1962 Mr. Darsey asked the Lion's Club to finance an addition to his plant which would double the size of the plant. The Club borrowed approximately $100,000 from Carrollton Federal Savings and Loan to finance the building of this necessary addition. This addition provided much needed space for the company owned by Joe Darsey, manufacturer of men's slacks. The plant provided many people of this area with jobs.
