Jamie McLimore Shouse, 40, of Owensboro, was surrounded by her family as she went to be with the Lord on September 2, 2014. She was born on March 17, 1974 to Edward Earl and Margie Brey McLimore. Jamie was of the Baptist faith and a member of Immanuel Baptist Church. She loved her family and grandchildren. Jamie enjoyed puddle jumping with her grandkids and scary movies. She wasn’t afraid to get dirty and she also raised tobacco.

Jamie is preceded in death by her father, Edward Earl McLimore; sister, Connie Lynn McLimore; brother in law, Robert E. Shouse; father in law, Robert E. Shouse; and biological parent, Jim Hardesty.

Survivors include her husband of 20 years, Allen Shouse Sr.; sons, Mark Allen Shouse Jr. (Ashley), Chance Aaron Shouse, and John Brey Shouse; a daughter, Lacey L. Bullington (Aaron); brothers, Eddie McLimore (Lorie), and Billy McLimore; mother in law, Gloria Darlene Shouse; sister in laws, Carolyn Clark (Scott) and Pam Russell (Mike); brother in law, Pastor Tony Shouse (Shellie); 7 grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends; and a best friend Tina Basham.

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to The Jamie Shouse family, Care of Allen Shouse.

Services will be 10 am Friday at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory. Burial will follow at Rosehill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2-8pm on Thursday at the funeral home.
