Mamie Steen Brown, passed away Thursday, February 20, 2014 at the age of 79. Beloved wife of the late Aubrey Donald Brown; mother of the late Nancy Jo Brown, Rebecca Jo Daniels, Ruby Carol Brown Theall, Robert Donald Brown. She survived by two daughters; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; two sisters; multiple nieces and nephews;. A native of Kosciosko, MS, Mamie made a career of raising her children. One of her great joys was listening to Elvis, as well as being an avid Casino hopper. Funeral Services will be held at HONAKER FUNERAL HOME, 1751 GAUSE Blvd. WEST, IN FOREST LAWN CEMETERY, Slidell, LA on Tuesday, February 25, 2014 at 2:00 P.M. Memorial Gifts may be made to St. Joseph Hospice.
