WEST CHAZY - Darlene E. Grenier, 50, of Spellman Road died Tuesday, Oct. 15, 1996, at CVPH Medical Center, Plattsburgh.

She was born in Plattsburgh Aug. 14, 1946, the daughter of Gilbert and Edna (Cooper) Russell.

Mrs. Grenier was a life long member of the First Presbyterian Church in Plattsburgh, where she served as a beacon, church elder and choir member. She was a 1964 graduate of Plattsburgh High School and a graduate of Albany Business College in 1966.

She was a member of the Beekmantown Central School Booster Club, a member of the Beekmantown Fire Department Auxiliary and a member and secretary of the Young American Bowling Alliance. She coached bowling at one time and was employed at the Y Wee Care in Plattsburgh, the Penny Saver Press and Church Oil at Exit 40. She enjoyed bowling, knitting and crafts.

Survivors include two daughters and a son-in-law, Holly Anne Grenier of West Chazy and April and Eric Millhollen of Corning; her adoptive sisters, Edward and Susan Corrigan of, Ohio, and Judy and Ellsworth King of Plattsburgh; two adoptive broters, Ronald and Josephine Rabideau of Syracuse and Kenneth and Diane Rabidau of Penn Yann.

Calling hours will be from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at the Brown Funeral Home in Plattsburgh. A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at the First Presbyterian Church in Plattsburgh. Burial will follow in Riverside Cemetery in Plattsburgh. A reception will follow at the First Presbyterian Church.
