Reburial Services Set At Abernathy

Funeral service for Sgt. Dall L. Loper, who was killed in the Philippines during World War II, are to be held at the Baptist church at Abernathy at 3 o'clock Thursday afternoon, it was announced today by Rix Funeral Home here, which will direct services.

The body will arrive here early today. Burial is to be in the Abernathy cemetery, with a military service at the graveside in charge of the American Legion and Veterans of Foreign Wars, following a civilian service at the church in which Rev. Talor Pendley, Abernathy Baptist pastor is to officiate, assisted by Rev. John Rankin, pastor at Monroe.

Survivors are the parents, Mr. and Mrs. R. P. Loper of Abernathy; one sister, Mrs. Opan Tyler of Oklahoma City; three brothers, Miles Loper of Oklahoma City, and R. G. and Emmett Loper of Abernathy; and two half-brothers, John Sweeten of Abernathy, and Artis Sweeten of Salina, Calif.
