My grandpa, who I lovingly called "The Grump". He called me a brat since the day I was born. We had a wonderful relationship and I loved him dearly. He was a hard worker and had such a hard time when the Parkinson's got bad. He was a 48 year member of our church. He retired after 53 years as a barber. His last shop was located at Fairlawn Shopping Center in Evansville. I have such fond memories of visiting him there. I can still smell all the hair supplies he used. He was a past president of the Methodist Men. He was married for 59 years when he died.
