James H. Ashley, a well known Spanish was veteran and a member of the General Adelbert Ames camp, died this morning at his home, 762 Broadway, aged 35 years. He is survived by his wife, Josephine (Maroney) Ashley, three brothers, Alfred, Herbert and George of Cheever, N.H., and two sisters, Mrs. Maud Wade and Mrs. Alice Wilson of Bradford Centre, Maine.
