Marie A. Carey Harrigan, on August 19, 2014 of Deptford. Age 50.

Beloved wife of Wayne Harrigan. Loving Daughter of Audrey Stone Carey and the late Gorman Ray Carey Sr. Devoted sister of Michaelan Bickhart (Charles), Gorman Ray Carey II (Laurie), Kathleen Duffield (Lee), J. Gregory Carey , Theresa Krouse (Richard), Laura Hehre (the late Alfred Robert), and David Carey (Susan). Doting Aunt to Gorman Ray Carey III (Kristal), Samantha Carey, Eric Beasley (Becky), Adele Marky (Peter), Ryan Beasley, Stephanie Carey, Annette Carey, Erin Lewandowski (Michael), Richard Krouse III, Patrick Hehre, Robert Hehre, Rachel Hehre, James Carey, Daniel Carey, Julia Carey, and Jacqueline May (Brian) as well as eight Great-nieces and nephews.

Marie grew up in Merchantville NJ and lived in Deptford NJ with her dear husband. She graduated from Pennsauken High School class of 1982 and later graduated Summa Cum Laude with her Business Degree from Rutgers University. Marie was faithful to her position as the Operations Manager at Vincent J. Ciecka law firm, located in Pennsauken NJ, for over 30 years.

The youngest of eight children, Marie was the perfect combination of grace, elegance, spirit and spunk. With an infectious laugh and incandescent smile, she made footprints on the hearts of everyone she met. With a simple conversation, Marie could make you feel important and special. She had warmth that touched the deepest of souls and stories that entertained the growing generations. A pillar in her large family, Marie relished time spent with family and friends and often hosted special events and parties. She loved to travel, try new things, and share her artistic talents. Marie recently became a member of the Gloucester County Community Church in Sewell NJ and she fell in love with the Lord Jesus Christ her Savior. As we mourn our loss of such a beautiful and cherished spouse, daughter, sister, sister-in-law, aunt and friend we also celebrate her glorious homecoming.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her visitation Friday 7:00 - 9:00 pm and Saturday 9:00 - 10:00 am at the Gloucester County Community Church, 359 Chapel Heights Road, Sewell, NJ 08080. Funeral Service 10:00 am. Interment Manahath Cemetery, Glassboro.
