John E. Rayer, age 91 of Blackwood, passed away on Thursday August 14, 2014.

Beloved wife of the late Emma H. Rayer (nee Beato). Loving father of Barbara (Harry) Minnick of Bluffton, SC, and Susan (Gregory) Stearn of Marlton, NJ. Dear grandfather of 4 and great-grandfather of 8.

Viewing will be held on Thursday August 21, 2014 from 9:30 to 10:30 am at the Earle Funeral Home, 122 W. Church St., Blackwood, NJ, where a prayer service will at 10:30 am. Interment with military honors will follow at Manahath Cemetery, Glassboro, NJ.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, South Jersey Chapter, 1415 Route 70, Suite 502, Cherry Hill, NJ 08034. Condolences may be shared at www.earlefuneralhome.com
