His Legacy... Michael Wayne Uptergrove, age 49, of Whitmore Lake, MI passed away July 23, 2014. He was born January 14, 1965 to Ronald and Gwendolyn (Russell) Uptergrove in Canon City, CO. Michael served proudly in the U.S. Navy. He worked as an electrician in the machinery field for many years. Michael had a passion for music and art. He enjoyed riding his Harley, with the wind in his face. Michael will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Michael is survived by his children, Sera Uptergrove of San Angelo, TX, Raymond Uptergrove of Lansing, MI, Amber Uptergrove of Troy, MI; parents, Dennis and Gwendolyn Bales; siblings, Ronald (Theresa) Uptergrove, Sonya (Ryan) Harmon, Susan (Dan) Johnston, and Dennis Jr. (Rhonda) Bales; and grandchildren, Iris and Scarlet Day.
His Farewell... Family and friends will gather 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM, Friday, July 25, 2014, at Borek Jennings Funeral Home, Hamburg Chapel. Michael's Healing Farewell will be Saturday, July 26, 2014, with gathering 10-11 AM, and service at 11 AM, at the funeral home. Chaplain James Ralph Courtright, Jr. will officiate.
