Wife of John W. Wolvin. She was the daughter of English immigrants Captain Joseph Kidd and Ellen Orr Kidd, one of nine children. She was born in probably Newcastle-Upon-Tyne and traveled as a newborn with her parents to America on the SS Ohio. Ships Passenger Index dated 8 May 1875 shows "Isabella Kidd" as a one month old. Subsequent records (census, etc.) show her as born in Philadelphia, PA.
The 1900 Duluth, Minnesota, Census lists Ms. "Belle" Kidd as a "Stenographer". At one point she was working with her father at American Steel Barge Company according to the Superior (WI) City Directory. She also worked in the Board of Trade Building in Duluth and with Western Transit Company.
She married John W. Wolvin at Duluth, MN, on 4 Feb 1901.
