Memorial services will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Saturday, August 23 at Johns Creek United Methodist Church in Johns Creek, GA.
Surviving are her husband of 35 years Geoffrey Wickham Barnes, son Taylor (daughter-in-law Brittany), daughter Perry Barnes Previto, and son Alex; sisters Ames Crawford Cushing of Bel Air, CA and Dudley Crawford of Johns Creek; stepsisters Topsy Taylor of New York, N.Y., Patricia Taylor of Green Spring, W.V, Effie Taylor Ellis of Southern Pines, N.C. and Beverly Taylor of New York, N.Y. She is also survived by three grandchildren, Kellar Barnes and Stella and Lyla Previto as well as four nephews, five nieces, three grand nephews and three grand nieces. A direct descendant of Laurence Washington (Pres. George Washington's brother) and niece of Admiral Richard E. Byrd, Fenton will be sorely missed by legions of friends stretching coast to coast in the US and Canada. She graduated from House in the Pines School in Norton, Mass. and attended what was then called Manatee Junior College in Bradenton, Fla in the theatre program. She studied and acted in New York and New England for many years before moving to the Atlanta area. An employee of Comprehensive Pain Management in Roswell, GA, Fenton was a member of Johns Creek United Methodist Church and a member of the Ladies and Mixed Doubles tennis teams in Sugar Mill.
