Martha was the dau. of Rev. George Scott (d. 1826) and possibly Rebecca Rutledge (b. 1768).
Martha's body, and that of her husband, Rev. Wlm. Higgins, was moved to Concord Baptist from Colonel's Creek Baptist when Ft. Jackson acquired that church site. Martha was born ca. 1793 and died after 1858.
