Fred Boren, 82, Route 1, White Plains, died at 5:15 pm Saturday in Muhlenberg Community Hospital, Greenville, following a brief illness.
Services were at 11 am today at Gary's Funeral Home with the Rev. Freeman McIntosh officiating and burial in the Boren family cemetery in Trigg County.
A native of Trigg County, he was born May 19, 1901. He was a retired farmer and a member of the Rock Front Baptist Church in Trigg County.
Survivors include his wife, Lois Dell Boren; four daughters, Dorothy Jenkins and Betty Hill, both of Greenville, Louise Sweeney, Bremen, and Ruth Lester, Cadiz; two step sons, JW Jones, Greenville, and James Jones, Breman; a sister, Lorener Joiner, Hopkinsville; three brothers, Cullen, Stanley and Frank Boren, all of Cadiz; 16 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
