William Armstrong, 70 years, died at his residence in Randolph County on the 3rd inst. He was a native of South Carolina, and emigrated and settled where he died while he was still young. He was a kind husband and parent and an indulgent master. Anderson (S.C.) Gazette please copy.

D. V. Crider, Adm. of Estate of William Armstrong, deceased, late of Randolph Co. will sell at public auction to the highest bidder corn, bacon, horses, etc. from Estate.
In the 1850 census in Randolph Co., AL he is with wife Rachel b. 1785 SC. It appears she died about 1858.
