CHERAW [Chesterfield Co.]—Services for Holley Nicole Alford, 11, will be held at 4 p.m. Sunday, May 9, 1999, at Welsh Neck Baptist Church, Society Hill. The family will receive friends 7-9 tonight at Kiser Funeral Home of Cheraw....

Holley died Thursday, May 6, 1999, in Bennettsville.

Born in Florence, she was a daughter of William A. and Susan Nolan Alford Sr. She was a member of Welsh Neck Baptist Church in Society Hill, where she was a member of the Handbell and Children's Choir in the First United Methodist Church of Cheraw. A member of Girl Scout Troop #295. She was an Honor Student at Cheraw Intermediate School (President's List), Member of the Drama Club. She enjoyed playing the piano, singing, swimming, and playing softball.

Surviving are her parents, of Cheraw; brothers, William A. Alford of Bennettsville, Randy E. Alford of Bennettsville; sisters, Betty A. Bowers of Liberty, Jennifer V. Alford of Bennettsville; grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Julian Nolan of Society Hill; great-grandmother, Mary Holley of Danville, Va.
