William Edward Lackie (Jean Crawford4, John3 Lackey, James2, William1) was born 1919 in Hartford, CT, and died 13 Mar 1922 in Bridgeport, CT. Billy died very young as a result of complications of the measles. His brother, Bobby (John Robert Lackie) and cousin, Dorothy (Dorothy Winona Cullingford), also had the measles at the same time, but recovered. Both Billy and Bobby were being raised by Dorothy's mother, Josephine Edith Sandiford (Cullingford), for her sister Irene Winona Sandiford (Lackie). Irene had recently divorced and was in New York to work. Billy [William E. Lackie] is buried at Lakeview Cemetary, Bridgeport ,CT. Billy (records state name as Edward Lackie) was originally buried on March 15, 1922 in a single grave but was moved to a lot on June 3, 1922. He is now in a four-grave lot. Harold Savage and Josephine Humphrey are buried in the lot and there is one vacant grave. It appears that the last grave is reserved for Dorothy Savage.
