RUSSELL, Ivy "Myrtle" -At the Oak Terrace Nursing Home on Monday, December 29, 2003 in her 93rd year. Myrtle Russell , beloved wife of the late William. Dear mother of Clifford and his wife Clare of B.C., Ruth Page of orillia, Eileen Lahay of Cumberland Beach and the late Bill.
Loving grandmother of 10, Great grandmother of 18, and one great-great grandchild. Also survived by daughter- in -law Lorraine and sister Hazel Olson of Edmonton. Predeceased by sisters Eva, Estella, Jennie, Eliza Ann and brothers Ken, Harvey, George, Gordon and Bill Grant. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at the Doolittle-Carson Funeral Home , 54 Coldwater St.East, Orillia from 2-4 and 7-9 Tuesday Dec. 30, 2003. Funeral service in the Chapel on Wednesday at 1 PM in the afternoon. Spring interment in St. Andrews-St. James Cemetery, Orillia. If desired , donations to the Canadian cancer Society would be appreciated by the family. There is an online book of condolence , at www.carsonfuneralhomes.com. A Memorial Tree will be planted in Algonquin park by the Doolittle-Carson Funeral Home.
