Ralph was born Feb 21, 1924 in Branchland, Lincoln County, West Virginia.
He was a proud veteran of WWII and retired from LTV Steel in 1986.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife Leona R Adkins (Poline). They were married for 57 years until she joined the Lord in 2007.
He was proceeded by his parents Mack and Ella Marinda Adkins (Wilson), five brothers, Okey, Jennings, Taylor, Kenneth, Everett Lee and two sisters, Myrtle Turner and Jewel Thompson.
He is survived by his children, Patricia Dobbins ( Bill), Lisa Cowgill, Janette Kamps ( Ray), Paul Adkins ( Melissa), 11 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, 3 great great grandchildren and his faithful lapdog Buttons. He was a beloved Cousin, Uncle and Great Uncle to many.
