Jennie died at her home in Wendell Depot at the age of 77. She had been confined to her bed for most of the past year. She was born in Westover, Vermont, daughter of Albert and Lucy (Carpenter) Aldrich and came to Wendell in 1939.
She was twice married.
She first married to Fred Lackey in 1895. They had four children, two whom are living:
1. Mrs. Vola Hammond of Orange
2. Lee A. Lackey of Greenfield.
Later she married Mixter M. Gibbs and by this married she leaves one son, Myron A. Gibbs.
She leaves 16 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.
