Funeral on Thursday

Follwing her life partner less than a year after his death, Mrs. Margaret Cragg, aged 87 years, widow of the late Rev. Edward Cragg, died at 11 o'clock Tuesday night, Sept. 16, at her home, 321 Thirteenth avenue west.
Rev. Mr. Cragg, the oldest Methodist minister in Western Canada, whose annual sermons were a feature of the religios life of Calgary, passed to his last reward on October 16, 1923, at the advanced age of 91 years.
Health Failed Rapidly
Since the death of the aged minister, Mrs. Cragg's health began to fail rapidly, her thoughts turning to a reunion with her husband with whom she had shared the yous and sorrows of life for more than half a century. For the last six months Mrs. Cragg had been confined to her bed, and the end came peacefully Tuesday night.
Mrs. Cragg had been a resident of Calgary since 1910, having come here with Rev. Mr. Cragg, then a pensioned minister of the Methodist church, after a lifetime of service in different charges throughout Canada.
Leaves Many Children
Mrs. Cragg is survived by two daughters, Mrs. E.D. Stone and Miss N.E. Cragg, residents of Calgary; five sons, Dr. C.C. Cragg, of Peterborough, Ont.; H.H. Cragg, of Calgary; O.A. Cragg, of Eyremore, Alta.; Rev. W.G. Cragg, of Kobe, Japan, and Rev. C.E. Cragg, of Wingham, Ont.
The funeral services will be held Thursday morning at 10:30 in the chapel of Shaver's undertaking establishment. The service will be in charge of Rev. A.D. Richard, president of the Alberta Methodist conference. Rev. Mr. McNiven of Wesley Methodist and Rev. H.W. Avison, Central Methodist, will assist Rev. Richard. Six Methodist clergy will act as pall bearers.
