Alice L. Petrillo, nee Langley, age 91 years, wife of the late Pasquale Petrillo, passed away on Saturday, August 2, 2014, in Kennedy Hospital, Washington Twp. Born at Langley's Corner, Glassboro, she was a life-long Glassboro resident. From 1945-1946 she served in the U.S. Army as a Medical Technician. Alice was a cafeteria worker for Glassboro Public Schools. She was a charter member of Glassboro VFW Auxiliary #679 and enjoyed crocheting, search word puzzles and country music.
Predeceased by her 2 sons, David and Paul, Alice is survived by her children, Patricia A., and James S.; 2 grandchildren, James Petrillo, Jr. and Danielle Taylor; 2 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews and many people who called her "Grammie."
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, August 6, 2014 at 11:00 AM in MATHIS FUNERAL HOME, 43 N. Delsea Drive, Glassboro, NJ. Friends may visit with the family after 10:00 AM prior to the service. Burial will be in Manahath Cemetery, Glassboro. Condolences can be shared at www.mathisfuneral.com.
