"Mr. E. T. F. Valentine, an old and
prominent citizen of Warren passed away
Tuesday morning about 11 o'clock, after a
severe and painful illness of over a year.
Mr. Valentine was born in Conewango
township, Warren county, March 28,1820,
and was over 72 years old. He had lived
in Warren upwards of 50 years and was
well known along the Allegheny river as
a lumberman and merchant. He leaves a
wife and three children, the eldest daughter,
Mrs. Selden, having gone to her home
in Alabama about three weeks ago. The
funeral was held from his late residence
yesterday afternoon at 3 o'clock."
