Christopher was born in Ontario Canada in 1853, the third out of ten children. His parents were Irish immigrants, Henry O'Neil and Bridget Duffy. He lived in Canada until he was 28. He married Catherine Detrick on June 2, 1883 in Wyoming. A few years later they immigrated to Colorado. Christopher and Catherine had 6 children together: Anita, Clair (male), Susa, Bessie, Jennie, and Christopher. Christopher died in Los Angeles in 1938.
