The Book o' Beggs
Mrs. Jospehine Beggs, 80, of 1105 E. Jefferson died at Brokaw Hospital at 11:25 p.m. Saturday.
Services will be Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. at Metzler Memorial Home, the Rev. Richard M. Newhall officiating. Burial will be later in Ashland.
Visitation will be today from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the memorial home.
She was born in Virginia, Ill., May 11, 1895, a daughter of Dr. J.I. and Nancy Berry Parkhurst. She married John V. Beggs Sept. 18, 1919, at Virginia. He died in 1947.
Surviving are one one son, J. Vincent Beggs, 1105 E. Jefferson; one brother, Laird Parkhurst, Peoria.
Besides her husband, she was preceded by one sister.
She was a member of Wesley United Methodist Church, the DAR and the Brokaw Hospital Service League.
Memorials may be made to Wesley United Methodist Church.
