My maternal gmother,Mattie Snow Olson Hicks died March 3,1939,in Almena,KS.She is buried in Mt.Hope Cemetery,in Almena,along with her 1st husband,my gfather, Jacob Dale Olson.
Mattie was my paternal grandmother, the widow of Jacob Dale Olson and of F.M. Hicks. She was the child of William Snow and Rebecca Milligan Snow and was a direct descendant of Stephen Hopkins and his daughter, Constance Hopkins, of the "Mayflower", and Nicholas Snow,of the "Anne".
