My mother was born in Oregon in 1930, then lived in Washington as a child. She has many aunts and uncles all from Canada and Washington. Her mother's name was Edith Katherine Perry, her father we do not know. She married my father, Donald Aiuto in 1957, in San Francisco, CA. She had 4 Children, one died in 1957 after birth. My oldest brother also has passed, Thomas E. Gonzalez (1953-2006),Victor Aiuto, and a daughter, Christine M. Aiuto-Atkins. She has two grandchildren by her daughter Christine, Donald P. Atkins, and Jennifer Atkins-Thompson. They have a daughter, Layla Marie Thompson. And a Grandson by the name Brandon Gonzalez, by my brother Thomas Gonzalez and his wife Sharon.
She was a beautiful woman, who loved to sew, and garden, and most of all, giving us a wonderful childhood. She was very artistic. She loved to make her home beautiful. She will not be forgotten, the gifts that she taught me as a child like sewing, needlework, painting, are now being taught to my Grand Daughter Layla, & your great Grand Daughter. Love and miss you Mom
