She was born April 11, 1925 in Stephens County to A.D. and Lola Haston. She married John Joseph Mock, Sr. July 7, 1943 in Amarillo. She lived in Abernathy and Wichita Falls before moving to Lubbock in 1994 from San Angelo. She was a member of the Church of Christ and was a volunteer "Mama Dean" at a daycare with her granddaughter for the past seven years. She was preceded in death by her husband June 26, 1992; and a grandson, JoDan Williams in February of 1996.
Survivors include a son, John "Buddy" Mock of Denver City; two daughters, JoAnn Williams of Post, and Margie "Sunny" Mock of Lubbock; three brothers, John and Frank Ha ston, both of San Angelo and A.D. Haston of Jacksboro; two sisters, Dixie Arlene Faith of Lovington, N.M. and Letta Stephenson of Lubbock; 19 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
